Includes 5 vols., 1924-1948, of typescript library accession lists. Two vols. are library memoranda, 1920-1941: chiefly typescripts (carbon copies) and ms. notes written by and to Mary Alice Matthews, librarian through 1940, and Helen Lawrence Scanlon, librarian from 1941. Correspondents include James Brown Scott, Director of the Division of International Law, and George A. Finch, Assistant Director. Also includes research reports and bibliographies on peace, international law, and diplomacy; lists of peace conferences, 1920-1940; subject index, 1937, to periodicals received by the library; and reports on library problems. One vol., 1916-1949, chiefly typescripts (carbon copies) with ms. notations, contains annual and some quarterly reports, 1918-1949, library's history, memoranda, and letters.
